Jake Blair, of Vail Christian High School class of 2006, graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Calif., in May with a bachelor's in communications studies. Westmont is a private Christian liberal arts college presenting a rigorous course of study. Jake is currently representing an exciting line of merchandise in the Rocky Mountain area with a small firm called Epic Collective from Santa Barbara. Jake also manages commercial video and film location sites for the company. Congratulations, Jake.

Ron “Billy Ray” and Kirstin Shaw welcomed their new baby girl, Sawyer Lee Shaw, on July 13 at 5 pounds, 6 ounces. Big thanks to the doctors and nurses at Vail Valley Medical Center Labor and Delivery. What an amazing team! What a beautiful baby.

We would like to send a heartfelt thank-you to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who lovingly cared for our twins and their mother while they were in The Women and Children's Center at the VVMC. Garret Levi and Grace Caroline Thompson were born five weeks early on June 16 at 5:35 and 5:36 a.m. Garret weighed in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and Grace's weight was 4 pounds, 15 ounces. Both were 18 inches long. Both Garret and Grace are now thriving and weigh more than 7 pounds each. We are counting our blessings! — Manny, Tanya and Wyatt Thompson and Peggy Bakke.
