VAIL, Colorado — Vail Mountain School commemorated Sept. 11 on Friday by “serving the servers.” On Wednesday, the seventh-grade service skills class prepared cookies and hand-delivered them to local police, sheriff, fire, and emergency medical personnel with a special invitation to join students for lunch at the school. On Friday, lower, middle, and upper school students served lunch to approximately 20 service men and women and shared their gratitude for the services they provide the valley.
