Yoga teacher Suzanne Oliver visits the Eagle Athletic Club in Eagle the second Friday of every month to lead a two-hour Anusara yoga class. The next FAC is Friday. This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students. Grab a friend, your partner or plan a girl's night out and kick off your weekend with a class that is geared for men and women who love to explore more challenging postures.
Oliver has a light hearted, playful, yet refined understanding of yoga. She is an extremely skillful teacher, having the ability to offer variations and modifications so that all students needs feel met.
“We are excited to have Suzanne come to our community to share her deep rooted knowledge of Anusara yoga,” said Eagle Athletic Club's Fitness Director Lisa Woods. “There is very little Anusara yoga taught in the Eagle/Gypsum area, so this is a rare opportunity for us to be able to stay local and have this style of teaching.”
Developed by John Friend, Anusara is a practice that is based on a set of alignment principles, life affirming tantric philosophy, and heart opening community.
“I hope all the Yogi's in Eagle/Gypsum will show up ready to be inspired, challenged and fired up to take their practice to the next level,” Woods said. “ If you live Up Valley, we welcome you to travel down to Eagle for a fun, light hearted yoga experience.”
The cost for this two-hour class is $20, and $10 for yoga instructors. The Eagle Athletic Club is located inside the Eagle Lodge and Suites at 200 Loren Lane, behind Alpine Bank and Wendy's in Eagle.
