VAIL - Colorado Counties Inc. will hold its 23rd Annual Summer Conference here June 6-8.
The three-day conference will bring more than 300 attendees including group delegates, Colorado Gov. Bill Owens and his cabinet and state legislators. The event will take place at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa in Vail.
Colorado Counties serves to promote and enhance county government by assisting member counties in delivering the most efficient and cost-effective services to constituents and furthers understanding of public policy issues through education of members and citizens. The organization also works to improve legislative awareness and responsiveness to urban and/or rural impacts.
The Eagle County commissioners and other county staff will attend the conference, so there will be no regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners June 7.
