VAIL - Chamber Classics series continues Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Vilar Center for the Arts in Beaver Creek. With a theme of "Masters: Past and Present," musicians Eugenia Zukerman, Chee-Yun, Nokuthula Ngwenyama, Alisa Weilerstein, Shai Wosner, Axel Strauss will perform works by Mozart, Chopin and Dvorak. A world premier created by Bravo!'s composer in residence Kenji Bunch will highlight the concert. Bunch's festival commission is "Shout Chorus, Quintet for Winds" performed by the Imani Winds.
Before the concert, there will be a Performance Prelude - a pre-concert talk and reception at 5 p.m. in the Vilar Center lower lobby. Performance Preludes provide a chance to interact informally with Bunch and the Imani Winds. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
