EAGLE — Brian Nolan was appointed to the Eagle County Board of Education to represent Avon, Eagle-Vail, Beaver Creek and Wildridge.

He’ll be replacing Pat Donovan, who participated in his last board meeting on June 27. Donovan resigned to travel the world with his family.

Nolan is a former member of the Eagle County Charter Academy school board. Former school board member Louise Funk also interviewed for the position.

Nolan sat in on this past Wednesday’s meeting, but abstained from voting.

Staff writer Matt Terrell can be reached at 748-2955 or mterrell@vaildaily.com.
