BEAVER CREEK — Beaver Creek Resort pairs with Bon Appétit magazine and 30 of America’s top culinary chefs to present the Beaver Creek and Bon Appétit Culinary and Wine Focus, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2008. The tenth annual winter festival includes a Celebrity Chef Ski Race, MasterChef Challenge, Grand Tasting, cooking classes and wine and cocktail workshops.
The festival provides a unique opportunity for guests to join their favorite chefs for a weekend of ski racing and culinary indulgence. Beaver Creek chefs will be joined by top national chefs selected by Bon Appétit Magazine. Highlights for the weekend include Friday evening’s MasterChef Challenge, inviting chefs to go head-to-head “Iron Chef” style by using mystery ingredients to create specialty dishes. Saturday’s Celebrity Chef Ski Race invites amateur skiers and food lovers to pair up with their favorite chefs for a dual slalom ski race. Saturday evening's Grand Tasting will feature signature dishes prepared by more than 30 local and guest chefs.
