Lyndon Garcia
Lyndon Garcia died in a Seattle hospital Thursday surrounded by his friends. He was 44.
Garcia was born in Grand Junction and worked most of his life in Seattle. He was a swimming instructor and enjoyed boating.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Betty Garcia, of Rifle, Colo.; sisters Linda (Ray) Avila, of Gypsum, and Lori (Chris) Darrington, of Omaha, Neb.; brother Lonnie Garcia, of Portland, Ore.; two nieces and two nephews, Alicia Garcia and Paul Avila, of Gypsum, and Brittany and Tyler Darrington, of Omaha, Neb.; and three great nieces, of Gypsum.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Church at 230 N. 3rd, Grand Junction on Oct. 20.
