VAIL Six inches of snow fell on Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains overnight, according to Vail Resorts.
Breckenridge had more than eight inches of snow in town with even more snow on the mountain as of 10 a.m. Sunday. Keystone was reporting seven inches at mid-mountain, Vail Resorts said.
Snowmaking operations are also set to kick off Sunday evening at Keystone Resort with Breckenridge Ski Resort firing up their guns at the end of the week.
Vail opens Nov. 16 and Beaver Creek opens Nov. 21.
Breckenridge and Keystone open Nov. 9.
