Print Comment
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado — The school district is looking for 22 people to serve on a committee that will review applications for the open superintendent job.

The “Superintendent Candidate Application Review Committee” will review candidate applications on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and make recommendations to the Board of Education.

The committee will be made of six school district administrators, six district teachers, six parents, and four community members who aren’t parents. The district is hoping to have an equal mix of participants from the east and west ends of the valley. The district also hopes to a see a mix of representatives from both elementary and secondary schools.

If you’re interested, you should send a cover letter which includes your relationship to the school district, as well as why you want to serve on this committee, to:

Eagle County Schools
c/o Brooke Skjonsby
PO Box 740
Eagle, CO 81631

Deadline to receive these submissions is Feb. 1. The school board will determine who will be a part of the committee at the Feb. 13 meeting.
