Bang Camaro, Bluebird Theater

Boston’s Bang Camaro realized that metal is best when it’s stadium huge — that’s why their vocals are sung, screamed and chanted by a 20-person choir. But they can’t bring all those singers on the road, so they thought of the next best thing: They’d recruit a full choir in every city they play. Each night, you’ll have the opportunity to jump up onstage with Bang Camaro and live out your heavy-metal dreams as one of many singing frontmen for the band. To audition to be part of their “guest choir,” head to their Web site or MySpace page. As for Bang Camaro’s music, it’s pretty much balls-out, flames-and-dragons ’80s metal; there isn’t a single riff here you haven’t heard before, but it’s just as fun as when you used to cut class to listen to it in the parking lot.
