VAIL, Colorado A court case was dismissed Tuesday against a woman whom police said threatened a chairlift operator with an ice pick on Vail Mountain.
Elena Adams, 45, of New York was charged with misdemeanor menacing after the Dec. 27 incident at the top of the Vista Bahn that involved lift operator Brock Glover, 23.
The case was dismissed after Glover said he didnt want to proceed with the case, District Attorney Mark Hurlbert said.
Police said Adams was trying to download the Vista Bahn on the wrong side. Adams then fell and threatened Glover with a nearby ice pick, police said.
Adams denied that she threatened the liftie.
