Wilderness first-aid course offered in June

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado — The 10th Mountain Division Hut Association is offering a two-day Wilderness First Aid Course on June 28 and 29 at the Harry Gates Hut. The training is sponsored by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of National Outdoor Leadership School.

This 16-hour, fast paced, hands-on, two-day course covers a wide range of wilderness medicine topics, including dislocation reduction, focused spinal assessment and epinephrine administration.
