Locals dish on their favorite meals in town

Breakfast: The French Press, Edwards
The meal: “I get an omelet. I always get sausage and cheese. It’s nice and greasy when you’re looking for a greasy meal.”

Lunch: Avon Bakery and Deli, Avon
The meal: “The spicy turkey wrap because it’s spicy. It’s just a really good lunch on a nice springy day. It’s a nice treat.”

Dinner: Juniper, Edwards
The meal: “I like all the meats that they have to offer. I think last time they had a good steak. I do like it because they have a different menu every time I go.”

Mickey Stone, Eagle-Vail
Breakfast: “The full Monty. It’s eggs benedict with everything in it. Tomatoes, spinach and Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce. It’s got the works.”

Lunch: Avon Bakery and Deli, Avon
The meal: “I like the half and half soup and sandwich. It’s always fresh. The bread’s really the best in town.”

Dinner: Ristorante Ti Amo, Eagle-Vail
The meal: “I always get the chicken with veggies. The sauces are just nice and light.”

The meal: “I like the pancakes there, just because they’re good, I don’t know. They’re better than homemade.”

Lunch: Avon Bakery and Deli, Avon
The meal: “The B.L.T. They just use good ingredients.”

Dinner: Ristorante Ti Amo, Eagle-Vail
The meal: “I like the angel-hair pasta with strawberries and stuff in it and chicken. It’s sweet and filling.”
