VAIL Juggler, comedian and magician Ann Lincoln will perform Tuesday at the Town of Vail Public Library at 2 p.m. Her show is part of the Summer Reading Program from 1 to 3 p.m. and will follow the Vail Library Summer Reading theme, Catch the Reading Bug. The show will feature the flying trapeze and other tricks by Harry and the amazing flea circus! This involves a real puppy-dog but imaginary fleas.
Lincoln returns for the fourth year in a row to help the library send the message to children about the importance of reading even in the summer months.
You will see ladybug bean bags juggled high in the air! You'll hear the story of three magical worms that can change size. You'll watch as pictures of caterpillars turn into magic butterflies right before your eyes. You might even laugh when I try to catch Stella the Spider puppet, Lincoln said about her magic bug show.
Children ages 6 to 11 are encouraged to register any Tuesday or, if they have already registered, to bring in their readings logs and receive their prizes. Lincoln's free performance during the second half of the program is for all ages and families are welcome. For more information, call 970-479-2179.
