2 killed in rollover crash near Limon

LIMON, Colorado — The Colorado State Patrol says driver fatigue may have contributed to a rollover crash of an SUV that killed two Californians.

The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. Saturday as 68-year-old William File Jr. of San Jose was driving on westbound Interstate 70, about 5 miles east of Limon.

Troopers say File drifted into the center median, then oversteered, causing the vehicle to leave the road and roll 2 1/2 times. He was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.

The State Patrol says 65-year-old Verna File of San Jose and 62-year-old Royce W. McFadden of Riverbank died at the scene.

Fifty-eight-year-old Vickie McFadden of Riverbank was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
