Scooterfest Success
Scooterfest was a huge success! There were 14 of us, reports organizer Robin Behrstock. We rode around town and took up all the motorcycle parking spots at the Wolcott Yacht Club. We formed the new Rocky Mountain Scooter Club. Pictured, from left, are David Kittman, Terry Krueger, Jeanie Kearney, Jonah Utley, Faith Allen, Brook Portman, Sara McClure, Randy Olin, Robin Behrstock, Eric Eves, Kate McKay, Steve Litt and Robin Litt.

Lost Cat
Have you seen Iggy? She lives in Intermountain (Bellflower) but could now be anywhere. She was last seen on Sunday. Shes really small, no tail, and super friendly. If youve seen her or have any information, please call Molly at 248-930-1120. Reward for successful return; I miss my buddy.

Amy Setting Sail
In some of the most disappointing news of the summer, Amy Hornyak is moving home to New England. Well, sort of home; she moved here from L.A. and grew up in Johnstown, Pa., but she did work for Nantucket Nectars and lived there after college. She misses the ocean and needs to sail while its still summer. Perhaps she will make a cameo at Septembers Oktoberfest? All of her friends have said, Were so sad, BUT
can I take your job? So, Amys departure means one of the coolest jobs in Vail is up for grabs!

Town Talk Towers
Dont forget the KaliberHello and welcome to Town Talk, the column that demands one clementine-flavored Izze, one package of teriyaki-flavored beef jerky and four rolls of Spree, with the flavors pre-sorted into small bowls.
This week, the Towers came across a contract for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, a frequent visitor to Vail. We wanted to share with you what they ask for as far as hospitality at each concert:
Hot buffet meal for eight (8) of equivalent food buyout of $15 person for eight (8) to include entree, vegetable, rice or pasta, dessert, coffee, tea and condiments. Please note: There are three (3) vegetarians among the eight (8). Entree to be advanced by the artist.
Dressing room setup to include: a selection of Chinese food that includes various dishes.
One (1) case assorted soft drinks (Coca-Cola and 7-Up).
One (1) gallon fruit juice (cranberry and orange juice not from concentrate preferred).
One (1) case premium beer (Heineken). One (1) case domestic beer (Coors Light).
One (1) fresh fruit tray.
One (1) bottle of red wine (Cabernet).
One (1) bottle of sparkling grape juice.
One (1) case bottled water.
One (1) six-back of Kaliber nonalcoholic beer.
We wonder what Snoop Doggs or Kid Rocks list looked like.
