Vail Sports holding 2008 blizzard sale
VAIL Vail Sports and One Track Mind in Lionshead are kicking off the next ski season in style, with the 2008 Blizzard Ski & Snowboard Sale. The sale includes a drawing for a free Vail/Beaver Creek season pass for 2008/09.Sale items include skis, snowboards, outerwear, casual wear, footwear, and accessories, some reduced up to 70 percent. Featured brands include Salomon, Rossignol, Patagonia, Quiksilver, K2, Rome, Burton, Oakley, Marker, Spyder, The North Face, and Tecnica.
Besides the ski pass, there will be drawings for Drawings and giveaways will be awarded during the weekend including a Ride snowboard, boots, bindings, helmets, and clothing.

Vail Capital Partners hires Eileen Valdez
AVON GM Real Estate Management Services, a division of Vail Capital Partners, Inc., has named longtime Eagle County resident Eileen Valdez as quality control manager to support its property management business in the Vail Valley.Vail Capital Partners is the Vail Valley private-equity firm that recently acquired the 117-unit River Run condominium complex just west of Dowd Junction. Currently, the company has investments in Bachelor Gulch and Cordillera, and has had development projects in Vail and Beaver Creek.
GM Real Estate Management Services is responsible for the overall management of River Run as well as all Vail Capital Partners properties. Valdez will serve as housekeeping supervisor as well as coordinate all maintenance and repairs at River Run.
