Blizzard Sale
Vail Sports and One Track Mind in Lionshead are kicking off the next ski season in style with the 2008 Blizzard Ski and Snowboard Sale. The sale begins at 10 a.m. today and continues through Sunday.
Drawings and giveaways will be awarded during the weekend, including a Ride snowboard, boots, bindings, helmets, and clothing. The grand prize is a 2008-09 Vail/Beaver Creek Ski Pass.

The Shaw Regional Cancer Center invites its patients and cancer survivors, along with their family and friends, to attend Fit for Survival, a month of fitness activities ranging from meditation and yoga to guided hikes and cooking classes.
