Lane of Vail Pass closed next week

Crews paving freeway, repairing bridge on Vail Pass

Colorado Department of Transportation lane closures — Nov. 30-Dec. 6

I-70 Eastbound/Westbound Between Vail Pass and East Vail (Milemarker 180-190)(through December 2008)

24 Hours MO-SA Single lane closures for bridge expansion joint work and paving milepost 182 and 177. Delays expected. 12 ft. width restriction. 8:00am-4:00pm MO-FR Right lane closure for pull box installation and fiber optic work.Delays are possible.



I-70 Eastbound Eisenhower Tunnel to Silverthorne Interchange (Milemarker 206-213) (through December 2008)

7:00am-6:00pm MO-TH Single lane closures for sideslope repairs. Delays possible.



I-70 Eastbound/Westbound through the Eisenhower Johnson Memorial Tunnels (Milemarker 213-216) (through January 2009)

6:00pm-6:00am SU-SA Single lane closures in both directions for routine maintenance. Delays are possible.

8:00pm-6:00am MO-TH, 10:00pm-6:00am SU and FR Single lane closure on eastbound for panel installation. Delays possible.



US 160 Eastbound/Westbound South of Towaoc (Milemarker 21-26.6) (through December 2008)

7:00am-5:00pm MO-FR There will be one lane alternating traffic. for pipe installation and earth work. 15 minute delays.



US 160 Eastbound/Westbound Durango from Doubletree to SH 3 (Milemarker 83-87) (through November 2009)

8:30am-3:30pm SU-SA, 6:30pm-6:30am SU-SA Single lane closures for paving, drainage, earthwork and reconstruction.Delays possible. Speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph through the work zone. Wide load restrictions are in effect so please call the project hotline at 970-385-7500 to coordinate passage through the

work zone.



US 160 Eastbound/Westbound East of Durango (Milemarker 88-89.5) (through October 2010)

7:00am-5:30pm MO-TH Signal will control lane closures as trucks exit and enter roadway to haul embankment material for bridge construction, retaining wall construction and concrete work. Delays are possible.



US 285 Northbound Near Bailey at Deer Creek Interchange (Milemarker 224-225 (through December 2008)

8:00am-4:30pm MO-FR Periodic traffic stops on US 285 and on County Rd. 72 for pipe installation, dirt haul, and pile driving. One lane traffic on CR 72 possible. Delays possible. Speed reduced to 40 mph 24/7.



US 550 Northbound/Southbound From the New Mexico State Line North (Milemarker 0.78-2.97) (through June 2009)

7:30am-5:00pm MO-FR There will be one lane alternating traffic. possible as needed for bridge reconstruction, paving, panel walls, guardrail, retaining walls, and culvert work. Project hotline is 970-764-7790.Delays are possible. Speed limit has been reduced to 50 mph and 40 mph as needed.



CO 114 Eastbound/Westbound Near US 50 East of Gunnison over Tomichi Creek (Milemarker 0.17) (through May 2009)

24 Hours Traffic is now on detour route for concrete box culvert replacement. Minor delays.



CO 13 Northbound/Southbound Between the Wyoming State Line and Craig (Milemarker 111-127) (through December 2008)

7:00am-5:00pm MO-SA There will be one lane alternating traffic. for guardrail work and paving. A 14 ft. width restriction will be in effect 8:00am-6:00pm MO-SA. 10 minute delays possible. Speed limit lowered to 25 mph through the work zone during work hours and 50 mph at night.



CO 74 Eastbound/Westbound Between I-70 and Evergreen (Milemarker 0-5.5)(through December 2008)

7:00am-4:00pm MO-FR Right shoulder closure for installing fiber optic cable and seeding. Delays possible.
