VAIL, Colorado — Dr. Jack Eck, Executive Vice President Clinical Program Development and Community Outreach for Vail Valley Medical Center (VVMC) is spearheading a community wide project to collect stories, photos and video interviews of those who helped progress medical care in the Vail Valley.

The project’s purpose is to celebrate the characters and “can do” attitude that made VVMC what it is today and to help channel that energy to continue to progress the hospital into the future.

“We are blessed to have this state of the art hospital in our community,” says Eck. “It’s important to recognize how we got here and for the next generation to realize that this is now their hospital and they will need to adopt a similar attitude of giving to maintain VVMC’s status as a medical leader.”

To learn more about the VVMC History Documentary visit www.vaildaily.com to watch a video of Jack Eck describing the importance of the project and its purpose. If you have photos that you would like to lend VVMC for use in the history video please call 970-477-5177.
