Second offering for silver parking passes begins Monday

Pass allows parking for businesses

VAIL — Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, the town of Vail will conduct a second sales offering for all remaining silver parking passes good for unlimited parking in one of the structures — either Vail Village or LionsHead.

This follows an initial sales period which ends Friday where a limited number of silver passes remain to be sold for use in the Vail Village parking structure while the maximum 50 passes are still available to be purchased for use in the Lionshead structure.

To be eligible to purchase the $1,800 silver pass, buyers must own a business license in Vail Village or Lionshead. Sales are currently limited to one silver pass per business based on the location of the business.

On Dec. 8, all remaining passes will be offered to buyers who have been placed on a waiting list for the opportunity to purchase additional passes. At that time, businesses based in Vail Village will also be eligible to purchase passes that are good for use in the Lionshead parking structure.

The silver pass is one of six season parking passes offered by the town. The remainder of the passes are available for purchase throughout the winter from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday on the lower level of the Vail Municipal Building.

For more information, call the town’s parking hotline at 479-2104 or visit www.vailgov.com.
