Employers in such fields as renewable energy, private education, health care, aerospace and engineering are looking for people.
Education Sales Management in Highlands Ranch is one of those businesses. The company helps mostly for-profit schools enroll and retain students and has grown to 600 employees from 466 last year. The company plans to add more than 200 call-center jobs.
Other Colorado companies adding to their ranksinclude Ascent Solar Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Kaiser Permanente, wind-turbine maker Vestas and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden.
