Hardscrabble Bluegrass

The Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability will sponsor a performance by the local bluegrass band Hardscrabble on Saturday evening at the Broadway Cafe.

You’ll recognize these musicians. Expect to see Bill Britt playing string bass, Charlie Davis on rhythm guitar, Jenna Skinner-Markowitz on vocals and harmonica, Eric Lovgren on banjo and vocals, Adam Palmer on lead guitar and vocals and Steve DeGroat on mandolin and vocals.

The band will play from 8 p.m. to midnight. Come early — the last performance was packed.

Good Luck, John

Good luck to John Adams from the locals in Minturn. He will be serving breakfast at Ali’s Kitchen from 6 to 9 a.m. seven days a week.
