Scholarship Winners
Cynthia Edgerton, left, and Eleanor (Elie) Cahill, right, receive Vail Youth Recognition awards from Scott O’Connell, representing the Vail Valley Exchange. Cynthia is a junior at Vail Mountain School, and Elie is a junior at Battle Mountain High School. The awards were presented at the Vail Town Council meeting on Tuesday accompanied by a standing ovation. The awards come with a $1,000 scholarship for college tuition.
