Cancer walkers hosting fundraiser in Gypsum

Team “Keepin' 'em Real” plans to walk three days to raise funds to combat breast cancer

GYPSUM, Colorado — A group of people who plan to walk three days to raise funds to combat breast cancer have a fundraising dinner scheduled for 5-10 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at the Cotton Ranch Restaurant in Gypsum, Colorado.

Team “Keepin' 'em Real” will serve specials at the restaurant for tips, donations and a portion of the proceeds toward their goal of $30,000 for the fight against breats cancer. They are raising money for the cause through the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

The dinner specials include a 10-ounce prime rib dinner for $12.95 and 14-ounce for $14.95 with all the fixings. Pink drink specials will include pink rasberry cosmo, pink margarita, pink lemonade and pink mojito.

The fundraiser supports the team's walk in Denver Aug. 28-30.
