Unsettling notes left on car in Gypsum

Letters aren't threatening, but woman wonders whether someone is watching her

Editor's note: The following excerpt was taken from Eagle County law enforcement officers and police reports

GYPSUM, Colorado — Someone has been leaving letters on a Gypsum, Colorado woman's car. Although the letters aren't threatening, they have left the woman to wonder whether someone is watching her, an Eagle County Sheriff's Office report said.

One letter made reference to the fact that the woman changed her hair color. The woman has been receiving letters since January at her home and place of work in Gypsum. The writer penned the notes in both English and Spanish.

The woman reported the incident to police on June 14.
