AVON, Colorado — An Edwards woman who drove drunk through the town of Avon, Colorado said she was weaving because she was putting on make-up, police say. The 45-year-old woman's car had strong odors of mouth wash, a floral perfume and alcohol when Officer Yvonne Ramirez pulled her over for weaving on June 20, according to a police report.
The woman had “droopy, red and watery eyes.” The woman admitted to drinking about two glasses of wine about 30 minutes before the traffic stop. She failed multiple sobriety tests and was arrested with a .141 blood alcohol level, according to the report.
