VAIL
VAIL, Colorado — Vail Cabaret Nights at Marketplace on Meadow Drive are back for the summer season. A total of 18 singing waiters and waitresses are part of this season's cast, which includes several new performers. They will be singing the best of Broadway music with 17 performances. Cabaret Nights are set for tonight and Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and July 8, as well as other select dates in July. “We've raised the bar in talent this year. Vail's home grown are out of school and back from college for the summer. They have been working hard and are bringing their own personalities into each song they sing. It is truly like a breath of fresh air working with this ensemble of singers. Cabaret Nights is an event that should not be missed!” said Rayla Kundolf, artistic director for Vail Cabaret Nights.
Performances of Vail Cabaret Nights are from 8 to 10 p.m. on the same evenings as the Bravo! Music Festival performances held at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
Vail Cabaret Nights is lead by Kundolf and music director, Taylor Kundolf. Rayla is from Santa Fe, where she was one of the founding troubadours at La Casa Sena — one of the places that served as the inspiration for Vail Cabaret Nights. Taylor is an accomplished entertainer and pianist who has performed for audiences all over the world.
