VAIL, Colorado — Ski Butlers, a ski rental delivery service with a branch in Vail, Colorado recently announced results of a customer-service survey it participated in for the 2008-09 ski season.
Using the “Net Promoter Score” Ski Butlers was viewed favorably by 89 of its customers.
“This score tells us two things,” said Bryn Carey, president and founder of Ski Butlers. “One, that we have consistent service throughout the 25 North American resorts we serve, and two, we have found a way to make ski and snowboard rentals convenient and hassle-free.
Companies that do the survey ask a single question: "How likely is it that you would recommend our company to a friend or colleague?"
A score of 75% or above is considered quite high.
Other companies' scores include:
• Harley-Davidson: 81 percent.
• eBay: 71 percent.
• Apple: 66 percent.
