Hunters find body of Colorado man missing since Thursday

Edward Jung, 64, was pinned under his ATV while riding a trail near Saguache

SAGUACHE, Colorado — Two bow hunters found the body of a man who was reported missing days ago by his family.

Saguache County Sheriff Mike Norris said Saturday that 64-year-old Edward Jung apparently missed a turn and was pinned under his ATV while riding a trail near Saguache Park.

Jung was reported missing Thursday after failing to show up at his home in Rocky Ford.

Norris said a deputy found Jung's pickup truck Friday near a spot where his family said he liked to ride. A full-scale search planned for Saturday was called off after the bow hunters reported finding Jung's body.

Authorities recovered Jung's body Saturday.

Jung recently moved to Rocky Ford from the Denver area when he retired after a decades-long career with the U.S. Post Office.
