FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Sheriff's deputies say two women hiking west of Fort Collins used a hiking stick to fight off a knife-wielding man.
The women were attacked Sunday morning on the Signal Mountain trail in the Roosevelt National Forest.
One was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital with minor cuts on her hands and shoulder.
The women's names weren't released.
Deputies set up roadblocks and were interviewing possible witnesses.
