VAIL VALLEY, Colorado — Highlights of upcoming winter season at the Vilar Center include American Idol star David Archuleta performing “Christmas From The Heart,” blues legend B.B. King, country superstar Glen Campbell, two full-company performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the musical Cats.
“We have a deep commitment to not only presenting the best artists, but to representing the breadth and diversity of performing arts world in the shows we bring to Beaver Creek,” said Executive Director Kris Sabel. “This season has been such a coup for us in that respect. You can see an intimate acoustic show one night, and then experience a full-scale Broadway production the next.
“You can bring your family to a wonderful play for all ages one week, and then treat your significant other to a romantic night of classical music the next.”
A calendar of the full season, artist bios, videos, “VPAC Radio,” a virtual theater tour, online ticketing and more are available at www.vilarpac.org. Tickets for the season go on sale at 11 a.m., Nov. 2. Tickets for early season performances and select shows throughout the winter are on sale now. Tickets are available at www.vilarpac.org, by calling 888.920.ARTS(2787) or in person at the box office in Beaver Creek.
