I was about ready to write a letter about the high number of streetlights out at freeway off-ramps at various exits on I-70, and I saw a CDOT crew working on the main Vail exit.
The number of tire skidmarks at the Edwards, Wilmore Lake and other exits clearly show that not only that this is a safety issue, but the fact they have been out so long makes me question CDOT's concern for traffic safety.
Does it take someone running into a metal off-ramp fence, triangular and dangerous in itself (by bad design-go figure) to speed things up?
The perpetual bad hydroplane section in Dowd Junction is yet another example of bad drainage, bad design and indifference to our lives by CDOT. I welcome a response from an administrator.
