Mono skiers return to Colorado rehab hospital for movie screening

Snow is proof of what still can be accomplished after a life-altering accident

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado — Felix Snow made the rounds at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colo., rolling from room to room in his wheelchair like a rock star.

Snow is proof of what still can be accomplished after a life-altering accident.

Once a patient at the hospital specializing in spinal cord injuries, the 43-year-old mono skier returned Monday for a special screening of Warren Miller's latest ski film, "Dynasty."

Snow, who was paralyzed from the waist down in a 1995 auto accident, was filmed for the iconic ski movie at the Winter X Games competition last January. Same with Sam Ferguson, another Craig graduate.

After their portion of the movie aired, a packed gymnasium erupted in applause. The film was halted and the two chatted about overcoming obstacles.
