Vail Valley: 'Business Health Forum' to be held in Edwards

Are you unclear how the proposed health reform legislation will affect Vail Valley business owners? Do you want to hear information in a non-partisan way instead of being barraged by political campaigns?

The Business Health Forum, High Country Human Resource Association, and J.L. Haneke Financial & Insurance Services, Inc. are sponsoring a forum at the Berry Creek Middle School auditorium Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m. The forum is free and no pre-registration required, but seating is limited to the first 100 attendees.

Information about the proposed legislation will be presented by William N. Lindsay, III, who chaired the Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform. Ralph Pollock, Executive Director of the Business Health Forum will also speak.

Colorado Rep. James Riesberg, Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee of Colorado, will attend to comment on what health bills may come before the legislature next and will talk about ways to get involved with your elected representatives.

The Business Health Forum is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the business community about health care issues and engaging employers in creating a sustainable health care system. The organization conducts forums across Colorado, educating employers on current health reform issues and encouraging them to have a voice. For more information, go to www.bizhealthforum.org.
