Web search engine, shopping site support Vail Valley nonprofit

Second Chance with Saving Grace, a Vail Valley nonprofit organization, is the beneficiary of a new partnership with two Internet search engines.

Diane Dike, Ph.D, president and founder of Second Chance with Saving Grace is an award-winning speaker, singer and author. She has dedicated her life to helping others and will be featured on Discovery Health's most popular show, “Mystery Diagnosis,” in April.

A search engine, GoodSearch.com donates 50 percent of its revenue, approximately a penny per search, to charities. The pennies add up quickly — just 500 people searching four times a day will earn around $7,300 in a year. And It doesn't cost the users a thing!

With GoodShop.com, consumers help Second Chance with Saving Grace. With GoodShop, up to 37 percent of the purchase price is donated to the local nonprofit.

Second Chance with Saving Grace's goal is to raise money for “Love Kits” that are delivered to hospitals, orphanages, or to hurting people, animals and especially children. More than 72,000 nonprofits and schools are now registered with GoodSearch and GoodShop.

“Every penny counts,” Dike said. “While searching or shopping online why not raise money for our cause? There is no reason not to use GoodSearch and GoodShop — it's so easy”
