The Vail Valley 9.12 Project met on Saturday for the second time. The group was started on Sept. 29 and has grown to 35 members in just a little over five weeks. Thirty-one of our concerned members met at Ticino's restaurant in the Avon Center. This was an organizational meeting led by Lu Ann Busse, who is the state coordinator for all 9.12 projects in Colorado.
We are committed to restoring the original tenets of the U.S. Constitution. The current Congress is usurping our constitutional rights by mandating such things as compulsory health care.
We intend to let our Congress and the potential candidates for all local, state and national office know that we will no longer stand by and watch our country be forced into bankruptcy and become a second-rate banana republic.
We are for small government, term limits and individual rights. We invite new members who like us are fed up with the arrogant, elitist, self-serving politicians in Washington, D.C., and are willing to work for real change in the Congress.
We would like to thank Rhonda, Dan and Gabriella for allowing the Vail Valley 9.12 Project to meet at Ticino's in the Avon Center. The food and the service were outstanding.
If you have had it with the status quo in D.C. and want members of Congress who represent the people and not their political interests, then join us!
