Religious leaders plan vigil in wake of Vail shooting

Vail Valley community invited to come together at Trinity Church in Edwards Friday

VAIL, Colorado — The pastors of several Christian churches and the B'nai Vail Congregation invite the community to a time of reflection and support following the shooting at the Sandbar in West Vail Saturday night. The vigil will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, at the Trinity Church in Edwards.

Religious leaders want to invite victims, their relatives and friends together with those involved at the Sandbar incident. Vail Valley Medical Center employees, law enforcement officers, first responders, social workers, firefighters and paramedics also are invited. Religious leaders always want to honor veterans in the community for their service.
