I would just like to thank everyone involved with the replacement of the irrigation system this past summer at the Vail Golf Course:
Starting with Mike Ortiz, The district director of the Vail Recreation District; Vail recreation board members Rick Sackauer, Jeff Wiles, Joe Hanlon, Ken Wilson and Michelle Hall; Vail Town Council; Landscapes Unlimited.; golf course superintendent Steve Sarro and his staff; director of golf Alice Plain and her entire staff.
The job was not easy.The weather did not cooperate.
The economy wasn't good. But the people involved got the job done after a late start and finished ahead of schedule.
To anyone I might have left out, I apologize and thanks to you, also.
I'm already looking forward to next year's course conditions with a new irrigation system in place.
