AVON, Colorado — The suspect in the Wal-Mart bomb threat faces several charges, Avon police Lt. Greg Daly said.
Police charged Asa Robinson, 23, with drunken driving, driving with a revoked license, menacing and inciting destruction of life or property, he said. Robinson has no fixed address, Daly said.
Police have accused Robinson of handing a note to a bank teller containing a bomb threat and robbery attempt at the Academy Bank inside Wal-mart Tuesday night.
In a separate incident Monday night, Avon police say they arrested Robinson in an Avon parking lot on other charges, Daly said. They include obstruction of a peace officer and tampering with evidence, he said. Police also obtained a warrant to search for his blood because they suspect him of drug possession, Daly said.
