MINTURN, Colorado --Minturn's annual Winter Holiday Market is Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The market, a rare winter event in the Rocky Mountains is sponsored by the Vail Daily.
"We think the winter market is interesting because of its uniqueness," said market director Randy Milhoan. "We have carolers and live music, hot chocolate, marshmallow roasts, hot wine and cider. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to listen to the children's Christmas wishes and hand out treats. Parents are encourage to bring their cameras to capture the moment."
Styria Bakery, Provence Marketplace, Nicki's Quicky Greek Euros, and Minturn Cellars will offer their fine products and many Colorado vendors will be on hand with their Christmas gifts.
