Controlled burn planned in Vail Valley Saturday

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado — The U.S. Forest Service will set a controlled burn on Bellyache Ridge in Wolcott around 10 a.m., Saturday, in Colorado's Vail Valley.

Unless there is heavy snow, smoke may be visible through the evening.

The trees to be burned were cut down to prevent them falling into a radio tower.
