EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado — For the second year in a row, contestants from the Mountain States Rodeo Circuit have voted the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo “Rodeo of the Year” in its size class.
Selection criteria included quality of stock, arena conditions and best VIP treatment for contestants and their families. Voters also noted the event's family-friendly nature and the community.
The fact that we had the privilege of hosting a world-record bareback ride made this a year to remember,” said Eagle County Fair & Rodeo Manager Brad Higgins. “This award reflects the hard work of everyone who made the 2009 Fair & Rodeo possible.”
