VAIL, Colorado - The Vail Athletic Club and The Spa at Vail Mountain Lodge are hosting a special Speaker Series “Staying Well in these Infectious Times,” a complimentary lecture open to the public and presented by Dr. Tom Schneider, medical director of the Florida HealthSpan Institute. Learn how you and your loved ones can stay healthy throughout the winter by attending the lecture, which is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Vail Athletic Club, located within the Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa in Vail Village.
Dr. Schneider's Healthspan Florida Institute has been working for more than a decade with patients in age management and regenerative medicine. Dr. Schneider's unique approach ties in western and eastern medicines along with practical every day advice to slow down and even reverse the loss of hormones which cause physical aging.
Dr. Schneider is dedicated to the belief that the process of physical aging can be slowed, stopped or even reversed through existing medical and scientific interventions that are available now. His ground-breaking work in age management and regenerative medicine is rooted in more than a decade of personal and professional involvement in this exciting medical specialty. Dr. Schneider attended medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and trained at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Harvard, Johns Hopkins and the National Institute of Health. In addition to the rare distinction of being board certified in four medical specialties, Dr. Schneider is certified in Chinese Acupuncture for Aging by Dr. Yun Tao Ma and by the Cenegenics Education & Research Foundation's program in age management medicine. He also maintains an ongoing avocation in bioethics and affiliates with the Kennedy School of Bioethics at Georgetown University.
