VAIL, Colorado — Vail Mountain on Saturday will expand its terrain to more than 1,000 acres, opening terrain in Golden Peak. Amongst the terrain scheduled to open this weekend are portions of Vail's Golden Peak terrain park, including the 450-foot long half pipe and approximately 15 other features, boxes and rails. This will mark the earliest opening ever the terrain park.

By Saturday, the following lifts and portions of terrain in these areas will be open: Avanti Express Lift (#2), Wildwood Express Lift (#3), Mountaintop Express Lift (#4), Riva Bahn Express Lift (#6), Game Creek Express Lift (#7), Born Free Express Lift (#8), Northwoods Express Lift (#11), Gopher Hill Lift (#12), Little Eagle Lift (#15), Vista Bahn Express Lift (#16), Eagle Bahn Gondola (#19) and Cascade Village Lift (#20).
