I find it interesting that the yes side is promoting the 34 years combined experience serving Eagle for those on the Town Board who are for this project. In the last 34 years, among other things, we have failed to annex the airport and the land around the airport (Costco) and missed miserably on the traffic patterns Eagle Ranch would cause.
If we are so desperate for revenue in Eagle, are we not in this position because of the decisions during these 34 year's experience?
Fortunately, Eagle does not need saving at the moment. Even Mayor Ed Woodland has said on public record at meetings that Eagle is not desperate.
We are acting like Eagle River Station is a savior. It is not.
If Eagle really needs revenue, it is because of the poor decisions by those with 34 years' experience. Eagle does need revenue, but it is not desperate. Please vote no on Jan. 5, as this is simply another poor decision by the same people who put us here in the first place.
No to ERS!
