Dave and Carrie Alt had a Super weekend all around. Dave waited on Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday at Beano's Cabin. Sunday, they hosted a few friends for the big game with their winnings from the Vail Daily football sweepstakes — a leather chair and ottoman from P. Furniture & Design, a keg of Coors Light from Riverwalk Wine & Spirits, prime rib, crab cakes and crawfish from the Gashouse and a flat screen TV. Not a bad start to February!

On Saturday, Vail Resorts and The Millennium Society hosted skiing, lunch and apres ski to raise dollars and awareness for The Youth Foundation. It was the official kick-off of the Foundation's Grassroots 2010 campaign. Donate $20.10 per month and build sustainability for the Foundation's after-school programs. It was a successful day all around, bringing not only new donors to the Foundation, but snow to the mountain and a birthday celebration for Rob Katz, Vail Resorts CEO. The Youth Foundation wishes to thank everyone at Vail Resorts, The Millennium Society, the Game Creek Club and the Lodge at Vail for this great event.
