What goods or services do you provide? We provide Pre-Paid Legal Service plans and Identity Theft Shield plans. I provide services including: Quickbooks bookkeeping, notary services, typesetting, filing, organizing and other office administrative services. I also prepare and file income tax returns for individuals.
What's new or exciting at your place? Pre-Paid Legal Service and Identity Theft Shield plans are the newest addition to my business. As helpful as it has been for me, I'm really excited to share it with others.
The pre-paid legal plans offer preventative legal services including: legal advice, letters and phone calls generated from the law firm; contract and document review; and will preparation. It offers motor vehicle legal services including: license restoration and trial defense services (up to 60 hours per year, which increases with each year you are a member). It also offers IRS audit legal services. You can get up to 50 hours of the law firm's time if you receive notice of an IRS audit or are asked to appear at the IRS office regarding your return.
The Identity Theft Shield plan monitors your credit report and notifies you of any changes. Should you fall victim to identity theft, the licensed investigators (Kroll, Inc.) will work to correct damages caused by it.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Office Genie was created after seeing a need for office services for companies that only need one-time tasks or just a few hours a month or week without having to put someone on their payroll. This saves them payroll and worker's comp expenses.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I've lived in Gypsum for 19 years. I grew up in Westminster. All of my work experience has been working with the public. I have many years experience in office and retail. My favorite programs are Microsoft Publisher and Quickbooks. I am proficient in Microsoft Office and other assorted databases.
I love our community and serve as secretary on the Board of Directors for the Gypsum Chamber. As a member of the chamber I have been learning alot about local businesses. For such a small community, we have an amazing array of services and products available to us. I'm proud to be a part of our community.
What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I work in a lot of different atmospheres and there is not a day that goes by that we don't have something to laugh about. Jimmy Buffet has a lyric that I always loved — “If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane!”
