EAGLE, Colorado — Inmates performing cleaning services at the Eagle County Justice Center last week reported vandalism to a couple of candy dispensers at the site.
When Eagle Police responded to the report, they found one gumball machine and one peanut machine with holes burnt into the clear plastic container that held the edibles. The coin vaults were not tampered with and there was no other damage to the machines, which are located in a public hallway.
Eagle Police contacted the vending machine company to report the vandalism.
